Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Apple Valley Family,

Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who have been affected by COVID-19 and we sincerely appreciate those in healthcare fields, local communities and governments who are working around the clock on the front line to combat against this pandemic.

For nearly 30 years, our team has provided a safe, clean and welcoming hotel to our guests.  Like many of you, the leadership team, employees and owners of The Inn At Apple Valley have carefully been monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the CDC Recommendations as well as the World Health Organization.  We want to thank you for choosing The Inn At Apple Valley as your “Home away from home”  in the Smokies over the years, and would like to share some of the precdaut8onary measures that we are taking.

We want to ensure our valued guests that you will still experience the same extraordinary accommodations that have always been provided at The Inn At Apple Valley.  Each department has guidelines to go above and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable.  Thank you for helping us practice social distancing by maintaining about 6 feet of space from others.

These procedures are recommendations by the CDC as well as our franchisor, Choice Hotels International.  Initiatives in place include:

• We are hourly sanitizing high-touch items in the lobby at check-in and check-out that include, entrance/exit doors, ADA door switch, check-in counters pens, credit card processor, room keys, etc.
• Our housekeeping team is paying close attention while preparing rooms for your arrival.  You can rest assured knowing that the entire area has been cleaned with careful attention to areas that guest commonly have contact with.  These common areas include door knobs, light switches, lamps, telephones, television remotes, desk surfaces and faucets.
• All team members are disinfecting our public areas including entrance/exit doors, elevator buttons, restrooms, business center and guest laundry.  Hand Sanitizer stations have been added at our front desk counter.
• Modification to our breakfast offerings are effective immediately to support recommended food and safety best practices as well as the local health authorities.  These modifications include “To-Go” style continental breakfast that will be served in the hotel lobby.  Items will include hot coffee, tea, juices and prepackaged pastries.

Over the years you have become family.  Our team has always taken pride in preparing for you and your families arrival.  One of our greatest accomplishments is being able to welcome you home to The Inn At Apple Valley and we look forward to seeing you soon.

We want to assure you that maintaining high standards is our top priority.  We will continue to monitor guidelines by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials.  Additional adjustments to our hotel operations will be made as needed.
